Bearded Holiday Card Roundup

It's time to pick out this year's holiday card, and there's no time like the winter holidays to celebrate a good beard (or moustache). While Santa has kind of cornered the holiday beard market, I think you'll find a few other fun beards included in this holiday card roundup, starting with Bad Kid's awesome bearded lady holiday card.

How about this swanky Christmustache card (how's that for creative facial hair puns?) from My Little Buffalo?

An old favorite from Laura George!

I love this moustachioed mug of mulled wine! Very cute card by Kate Sutton.

I still love these skiing and camping santas from APAK, I bought a couple of these last year!

Amazing beard on the holiday card from Dude and Chick.

Bearded Santa Cats, by Jamie Shelman.

John Waters, the owner of the quintessential creepy moustache, as Santa?? Little Branches says yes!

One of my favorites! Made by Betty Turbo on Etsy.

Rifle Paper Co. has a lovely bearded Santa card or two.

Egg Press loves the Holiday Gnomes.

Retro letterpress Santa from Yee Haw Press.

Super cute Santa from Monkey Mind Design.

Finally, a holiday card we can all get behind from Quite Like It: may your holidays be "fan-stache-tic"!

Fabulous Plushtache from Shannon Gerard, Mr. Frenchy Heart by Little Miso.

Hope you've enjoyed this month long focus on moustaches! As we say goodbye to Movember 2010, it's time to ring in the holiday season. Keep an eye out for a facial hair filled Holiday Card roundup later this afternoon!

Mark Cavell's illustration brings new meaning to the term Handlebar Moustache.

All of Michael C. Hsiung's illustrations crack me up, but this moustachioed dude falling drunkenly off his pennyfarthing takes the cake. Avalable as a print from Society6.

Looking for more moustache finds? I live to serve. Here's a lovely key holder from Suddenly it's Real on Etsy.

Got an iphone? That must be so nice for you! Well, just so you know, you can download this sweet moustache wallpaper for your iphone on Poolga. Awesome, now who wants to buy me an iphone?

Because you're my favorites...

I know you, beardos. You're smart. You're looking to buy awesome gifts this year, at a great price, but you're not willing to compromise on quality. I'm here to help:

Friday though Monday ONLY, a special deal for my loyal blog readers (I might throw a bone to my new Facebook fans, too). If you follow my beard business at all, you know that I almost never put things on sale, so take advantage of this rare sale and get yourself a sweet beard at a sweet discount! Just enter the coupon code "beardo" during checkout to receive your discount.

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, this one woman beard factory would like to thank you for your support over the past couple years. I cannot be more thankful for all the love you all have shown me, both online and in person at craft fairs, so THANK YOU for being so awesome.

Saw this funny poster on mallory lucille rose's tumblr. Took me a few minutes to figure out what word the moustache stands in for, but I'm sure you guys are more clever than I am :)

Perfect sweatshirt to get you through the chilly Movemeber months. Made by Lazy Oaf.

It's almost the end of Movember, hope your moustaches are coming along gloriously! In case you need some encouragement, here's a card that urges you not to shave. Found in cooljane's Etsy shop.

Nan Lawson has lots of cool moustachioed characters in her shop. Some beardos, too!

Have you seen these talking paintings by Justin Richel before?? Ok, so they don't really talk of their own volition, but you can make them talk to freak out your dinner party guests. The pipe smoking moustachioed man is still available here.

I have a feeling that this fellow would win many moustache championships with that stache... look at the reach on that thing! Collage by behappynow on Etsy.

Loyal readers might have figured out my two obsessions by now: printmaking and facial hair. This print combines them both. I love the old-timey look of dry points and etchings, and the moustache seems perfectly suited for this medium. You can pick up a copy of this print, "Waxed and Dastardly," from olerattlesnake on Etsy.

I'll be participating in the Renegade Holiday Craft fairs in both Los Angeles and San Francisco this year! Renegade is always fun, and it's a really great place to find holiday gifts for pretty much everyone on your list. Even though it's a month away, I wanted to share the flyers for the shows, aren't they awesome?

Woo hoo! The holiday craft fair season is fast approaching. Watch this space if you plan to visit either of these fairs, I'll be offering special coupons and little gifts to my loyal blog readers who visit the fair!

Tasty 'stache print from Lemon Drop Studio.

Was my beard on Conan last night?

I was excited to receive an email telling me that Conan O'Brien may have worn one of my beards on the show last night! Even though I am certainly a fan of Conan (Team CoCo!) I am also a big nerd, and I don't own a TV. I had to wait until today to check it out on the TBS website. What do I think after watching the clip??

...It seems to be a knock-off made by one of my awesome beardy fans. Either way, I am super excited to see Conan in a fake beard, and thrilled that I might have at least inspired the fan-beard maker! Woo hoo, beards on TV!

From the fantastic Studio Violet, a book about Mr. Mustache! They just released it in English, too, so you won't be forced to learn Swedish to enjoy this adorable storybook.

Movember progress?

I hope you've been enjoying all my moustache finds the past couple weeks. Perhaps this would be a good time to check in with all you Movember moustache growing dudes. How's your 'stache filling in? Did you make it through the gross itchy period? Keep it growing, guys! I want to hear about the teams you've formed and the money you've raised for charity, I may just feature a few of you on the blog here later this month!

As for you ladies out there, I hope to feature more fake 'staches this month, so you can get in on the action, too. Did you know there are even Movember ladies' teams? Illustrator Heidi Burton is leading a cool one.

Great moustachioed bunnies from Andrew Bannecker.

A great moustache mug, available at Paper Source. I love all the texture in the hairs, it's just creepy enough, but not so weird that you won't be able to enjoy your tea.
