Happy Holidays!

Just wanted to wish you all a lovely holiday, and a wonderful new year! I couldn't have made it through this year without all your support for my crazy beard business, and for that I want to say thank you. Really. I mean it. You beardos are the best.

I'm off to spend some time with friends and family, and make lots of rad new beard items for the store for 2010's grand debut! See you soon!

Jack Hudson draws some excellent beards!

I added a silkscreen print of Darwin to my shop this week. He had a delightful beard, don't you think?

In other news, Crafty Wonderland was excellent, and now I'm gearing up for Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco! Thanks to everyone who came by my booth here in Portland!

It's coming.......!! I'm so excited for Crafty Wonderland (fingers crossed for no snow!), I hope you guys can make it! Friends of the Beard will also be there, including Power and Light Press and Man's Face Stuff, so be sure to stop by and peruse their offerings as well.

Ok, back to the sewing machine. I've got so many moustaches to finish!

Still working on getting my voice back... I almost sound normal, but not quite yet. I'm off to drink a nice cup of peppermint tea.

This moustache comb is pretty silly... wish it wasn't so obviously branded with toddland's name, though. I like my moustache combs anonymous :)

The Craftwerk 2.0 exhibit was featured in a 7 page spread in Sweden's national paper Svenska Dagbladet! There I am in my pink beard, spreading the word about fake beards :)

If you can read in Swedish, or know your way around Google Translator, the article is online here.

Did you know that beard growing is mandatory in Seattle?

Well, maybe not mandatory, but that's what it seemed like by the looks of most of the guys who came by my booth at Urban Craft Uprising! I know that Seattle has always been a contender for beardiest city, but I was convinced that Portland is beardier... now I'm not so sure.

Anyway, I had an amazing time in Seattle. I'll post a photo of my booth later, in case anyone wants to see. It's pretty nerdy. I ended up losing my voice on the second day, so I am hoping that no one thought I was being mean and not chatting with them when they came by my booth... I just sounded like a 92 year old chain smoker, and wasn't super excited about it. Hopefully I'll sound like a normal human being in time for Crafty Wonderland this Sunday!

Thanks to everyone who came by and said "hi!", especially all you awesome beardos that bought my merch :) You're part of the beardy club now!

oh, ps: i was mentioned on The Stranger's blog yesterday, which made me smile.
