Edit 10/27: Found someone! Really excited to be working with Shauna of Lemon Drop Photography! Thanks so much to everyone who volunteered.

I know this is a long shot, but in case there are any Portland photographers with hearts of gold out there... I need to get some legit portraits taken of me in a few beards. I always need good looking photos to give out when I get contacted by magazines and books, and I feel like a huge loser when I send them my slightly blurry, off color photos taken with my 8 year old digital camera. Can anyone local help me out? I have very (and I mean VERY) little cash, but I am happy to give you a bit of cash and a bunch of beardy merch.

I know that's not exactly a really exciting deal, but maybe you're like so many other Portland creatives: out of work, and willing to help out a nice lady for some beards, and rediculous photos to add to your portfolio.

most excellent beardy portraits

Still no sign of my camera cable, but I did find these superb drawings of beardos who compete in the World Beard and Moustache Championships! SO good! Amee Christian is quite the talented portraitist, if I do say so myself.

Sorry for the extended pause in posting... I can't find the cable that lets me download photos from my camera! You'll have to be patient to see some Swedish beards, but until then, enjoy this portrait of Bill Murray as Steve Zissou in The Life Aquatic. His beard was really quite good in that movie, wouldn't you say?

Beards in Europe

I'm on my way home from Italy, but I wanted to put up a quick reminder that I'll be shipping out all orders received during my vacation on the 16th! Huzzah!

Hey beardos! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be away from the beard factory for the next couple weeks, while I travel in Italy and Sweden. Very exciting stuff. I am leaving the etsy shop open, and will send out all orders when I return on Oct. 16th. That should be enough time for your Halloween beard to arrive safe and sound, so feel free to browse the shop while I'm away! Can't wait to tell you all about my encounters with Italian and Swedish beards :)
